Not everyone reads the news articles from the front page. Many members navigate directly to the news section and read from there, so they would have seen your "It's a hoax, boo hoo" post immediately.
Please remember that members of
EF are from many different time zones, and many of them were/are sleeping when this article was posted.
If your fun on April fool's is to decipher they jokes, why not keep it to yourself for a few minutes, rather then ruin the fun for others immediately??
