I started recording NRFs (very fast and easy with NRF program) - but gave up on it - since when the entire map starts filling up with NRF spots, it actively discourages us from mining in a previously NRF spot. And since finds are random - we may miss vital spots if we follow NRF patterns.
Having said that, however, it may be interesting to see if NRF's form a pattern of sorts - but that would mean either someone with tremendous money/time on their hands - or an entire soc or community participates to map the NRFs over SEVERAL trials. And also ENSURES that ALL data is accurate and not tainted by guesswork or poor recordings.
