WoF Treasury Thread, which is here for the purpose of showing what has gone into the
WoF so far, what else comes, and what those taking part might expect to get for winning.
Who is behind the WoF?
Ok, firstly myself, Hurrikane. I started it, my fault.
Clam J Boy Jamphrie made it look so much better and run more like a proper tournament (he’s the sports fan).
The Judges: Major Putty, Jamira, Spike, Lee, Rayne Jade, most of the GloryHounds (Chopper, Sass, Rooster, Ossi, Pan, Jenga, and more) and the others too numerous (and bad at staying in touch) to list. The teams really appreciated having a Judge in each team when enough could make it, it’s been great working with a lot of the same faces from last year.
Entropia Forum: Without this Forum there would be no
WoF. Once again,
711 has allowed free advertising and use of this dedicated Sub-Forum to manage the
WoF from, this year extending his offer to include
Private Forums for each team. Also for this years
36 Main Team Finalists, there will be
Premium forum memberships awarded, with all the extra features they entail: Adjusted for 3rd, Improved for 2nd and
Modified for the
WoF 2008 winners.
MindArk: As always, they have shown interest in the
WoF, and like last year, are prepared to award
WoF Winners Jackets (in a different colour than last year) to the 12 members of the Winning Main Team. Hopefully I’ll get these to the winners a little more efficiently than I gave out the last ones. Also, MindArk events such as the postponed Land Grab have been arranged specially to not coincide with the
WoF.
Bank NEVERDIE: After becoming the
Official bank of the WoF,
Bank NEVERDIE have intitiated a
Prize Fund, for this and future
WoFs. This fund will remain here and will be updated when any more is added or new donations are made. The soon-to start
WoF Pro-Series events, sponsored by Bank NEVERDIE, will add a minimum of 500 PED each month to the fund.
