And, to the rest of the post... it's very far off topic... I'm glad that you felt the need to get something off your shoulders, I really don't mind constructive posts like yours.. and the bit about the WGTFO was more a toungue-in-cheek kinda thing.. the whole point I was trying to make was that a lot of people complain about no loot, when in actuality, their view is skewed from other games. This 'game' isn't so comparable to other games. Between the RCE and the longevity, I find it hard to give it a comparison with any other game..
But, if you look at the thread asking if
PE/
EU was your first game, you will find that a fair amount number of the 'no' people are often the ones complaining, and a fair amount of the 'yes' people are the ones promoting
EU... Now mind you, I say this, and I'm a 'no'. So, it obviously not total proof that other games have had an influence on the mindset of the complaints around here, but obviously it does have some sort of significance.
Lastly, I can tell you that with out a doubt, I don't profit, never have. You can ask anyone that knows me well enough, that while I'm fairly well equiped, I have deposited more than probably %99 of the people around here. I know for a fact, I pay to play. I play a lot, I play hard. I go through an absolute ass load of ped. To date this year alone, I could have probably bought an LA with all my deposits. Did I? Nope, I blew damn near every ped I had... I'm down to about 17 ped on my ped card. Do I got a lot of shit in storage to show for it? HELL YEAH!
Is it worth what I put in? No way.
And, since you were kind enough to start ranting, let me rant for a minute here....
If market prices weren't so fucked, we'd all be better off. If people quite trying to make a dime, we'd all be better off. Once again, ask all my soc mates, and my friends, I sell for TT most of the time, or a tiny markup, usually have or less of the current markup. But, when it comes down to it, if I need something, I still have to pay full markup if none of my friends have it. Thank god I have lots of friends....
