"This will be the last HjS-LAN event we arrange"
HjS-LAN #10 will once again be hold at the internet café Skate & IT-Center in Nyköping, Sweden. We have chartered the whole place for 4 days including all equipments. It will be 16 rental computers and room for 44 more to those who wanna bring there own. The price will be 450SEK for a hire machine and 350SEK for a seat if you bring your own computer.
Skate & IT-Centers space is 415 square meters with a cafeteria, skate arena and a room for X-Box 360 with Guitar Hero via projector. Also, free parking lots around the building! Skate & IT-Center is surrounded by restaurants and also have a public bath house next doors (~2km). The LAN starts on Thursday 29/5 at 22:00 till Sunday 1/6 14:00.
To be able to take part in this event you need to be Swedish or Norwegian and registred at
hjerpeskans.se. This is the 10th HjS-LAN we arrange since 2002, and it will be the last. Hjerpeskans.se will go down for good after this LAN, the 2th June 2008! So, this is the last chans to join up folks, just be there or be square!
Skate & IT-Centers equipment:
AMD 3500+, 2Gig DDR, nVidia GeForce 7k series and 19" LCD monitors. and X-Box 360 and Guitar Hero via Projector. They will also be used during the computer competitions and watching movies. The connection to internet is 30Mbit fiberoptic via "Stadsnätet".
Arrangements at the LAN:
Competitions in Entropia Universe via PvP and Hunting, using the ingame event system. There will be fine prices this time too with a value of +10.000 PED sponserd by MindArk.
