But his (L) weapon will give less and less skills, so he can probably redo it 500 times before getting to level 100.

Are you sure? As I recall (from reading) it was earlier then gold. But I started a few months after gold, so I might very well be wrong. Still I'm not sure you're right, either.

so, you go 50, then 25, then 12.5, then 6.25 etc. You never arrive, but you eventually get close.
Or maybe it's more like the speed of light (a theoretical maximum) or Absolute Zero (a theoretical Minimum). Both exist, but are unobtainable.

I don't think you can make the comparison with what level you are. However this
is exactly the way evade, dodge and things like that work. At least the theoretical maximum of dmg/hit is a lot higher then 100 - maybe as high as 1000.

ohh, about ~10 more avg dps for the MKV :P

And more then double the range :P
But your example is too one-sided - the only reason H400 has a higher eco using A106 is that it has a lower base damage. Without and amp, a smaller amp or an amp will bad eco the Mk V will win in pure dmg/pec as well. With an amp that has a lower dmg/pec then the weapon it's put onto, that will actually drag down the average dmg/pec of gun+amp more on the H400 then on the Mk V.
Say for example that the A10x amps become so rare that you have to use an e-amp 13 instead, that will pull down the eco of the Korss more then it does on the higher-dmg Mk V.
