Good idea, sort the weat from the chaff... or in this case, rotten weat. Still, i think this might work as good or better then autolock.

I think that it could prove useful to perhaps automatically transfer old hofs (hofs/ubers/ath) to an archive after a certain amount of time though.

And as an addition, any time you want to post in an archived thread you'd have to confirm your post (like; "Dis be a oldie, ya rly wna post?") after hitting the submit button to prevent those random "lol, grats m8"-posts to a 3 y/o hof that's done w/o looking the poster even noticing the OP's date.
Yep this is why i like these polls, ideas evolve

Seems like an archive is a good idea, although to work, fresh posts on +3month old threads should not show up on the "new posts" list. Otherwise it would be redundant...
