Yes, it's because of the eco.
(Check the eco of all the amps on entropedia.info)
The thing about those A-amps is, that their eco is so uberish, that it's almost unbalanced.
If you use a laser gun, always use the biggest A-amp it can use fully... And that you can afford. They really improves the eco a lot.
