Hi,

didn't vote because it's dependent of what I'm doing ...

Well, I check my percentage this way:
  1. First, I check my expenses:
[All repair after hunt] + [loss in TT of L items] - [ammo difference]
("ammo difference" because I'm melee and easily could have more total ammo TT after hunt, and "-" because it would then be a positive value ...)
    .
  2. Then I check my return value:
[TT of all that I looted]
Since it's ages ago that I looted something I actually was able to auction this works.
    .
  3. Last, I calculate how much % my return value is from my expenses, 100% would then mean a break even.

OK, and what this percentage is depends of what I do. In short I'd say:
  • Did I have fun during my hunt?
well, return then is usually below 50% if I was happy enough to have some globals and/ or minis. Can easily reach 20%, and because "fun" usually means using bigger gear and challenging mobs this very often is devastating to my PED card. Very, very rare to reach 100%.
    .
  • Did I do the mindless stupid boring grind again on tiny mobs with most eco orientated gear?
well, return then is usually above 80%, often actually a (tiny) profit. These mobs don't drop much, but they drop and are cheap to kill. A hunt with a bad result doesn't cost a fortune and is easily compensated with a mini in the next hunt.
The "kill bonus for skilling" is something that I don't despise, too ;-)

These % are what I have for quite some time periods, guess it wouldn't make much sense to judge a single hunt.
Think it's rather sad it's working this way now - it was different in the past!
"Standard loot" was better, but we didn't have this much of the insane Uber loots - so we wasn't this dependent of frequent globals/ minis!
For these to get we need to maximize our kill count as much as possible, which means we're ending on small, boring critters that die fast. No fun, right?

Have fun!
