Very interesting, all the answers are. Good food for thought. However, are we stepping over dollars to pick up pennies? I am not aruging with anyone just giving another opinion. The largest a-amp I saw for sale was the 105, which yields 16 dmg and the price is +way to much(I think is was like 2500ped). The e15 does 23 dmg for a way lot less, like plus 30 - 50 or less, I think( I paid +26 for mine). How long would it take, hunting everyday. to make up 2450 ped in the difference of pecs of the decay of both? Moreover how many times have you had a big mob on the ropes and get a critical hit, die, and have to TP back, try to find him, kill him using extra ammo because he has healed some while you are healing, TPing and finding him again. What I am saying, would the 7 extra dmg on each shot mean that the mob gets killed before you get that last critical hit, die and have to do what I memtioned above. I agree if you are not hunting big mobs the extra dmg shouldn't make a difference for either +16 or +23 dmg, I do think it does if you are hunting bigger mobs. If it takes 10 or more hits to kill the mob you are hunting the e-15 will yield 70 more dmg than the a105 assuming all things are equal.
As I said this is just another thought brought to the table. I am sure it will not be shared by all and that is fine with me. I like hunting the bigger mobs and I burn the ammo and the amps and it is all just fun.
