EU has given me some purpose, especially WOF. Almost gave me the feeling of representing again. I have always been an avid gamer and other games just feel like another way to pass the time. So yes I do feel EU can be very beneficial to the disabled.

In regards to it being beneficial to Alzheimers, from the studies I have read EU is a great fit there too. All of the most successful studies have related to slowing the natural (as in all brains) degeneration of neural links. The most effective way of achieving this is with a combination of hand eye co-ordination and future planning. Thats the primary reasoning behind gardining as one of the preferred activities.

Most games don't offer the future planning (being years not hours/days) aspect.
