Hey all,
I would like to start a video contest. The reason for this is to help spread awareness of Entropia Universe so that we all might have a fuller, richer experience. If we doubled our current population to around 10,000 people active players, then imagine what that would do for our experience.. More HoF's, more ubers.. more mod faps (supposedly!)
To do this, we will need to go about advertising for our game a different way. The #1 way I am thinking of is by creating How-To videos, or just talking about our professions.. Hell, even videos talking about inflation and how a gun costs $30,000 will get some people's attention.
So...Anyway.. Here's the nitty-gritty:
1) Prizes:
1st: 20,000 PED
2nd: 5,000 PED
3rd: 2,500 PED
4th: 1,000 PED
5th: 500 PED
6th-10th: 100 PED
2) All videos will be voted on by mass vote here on
EF
3) Video entries must be in English only, and must be formatted for Youtube/Veoh.
4) Video topics are as follows: Professions How-To and facts.. Talking about inflation in the game, Talking about how much certain people won, lost in game, Player interviews, Newbie Guides, etc.. All videos will be accepted, obviously.. But it's my desire to see some really useful stuff made. Watching people dance stupid in Twin Peaks isn't what I'm after.
5) All videos are to have the watermark for
http://www.entropiaforum.com/forums/...piaBlogger.com, as these videos will be posted on the site. Also, it would be nice for an actual written guide/story be submitted alongside it, so it can be posted in the blog!
6) You must agree provide me the raw video if you are chosen a winner. I will want this only if I think I can further optimize the video for sites such as youtube, etc.
7) The contest will last 120 Days, and then we will all vote!
