10.000 boms spread over 2 years is rather a low amount of bombs.
eg.: I started to mine again after I chipped out some mining skills and I used 10.000 bombs in about 3-4 weeks *no amps* (wich still is not a huge amount). Btw, mining requires less decay (hunting = fap + armour + gun + ammo = you burn up alot of decay a lot faster => it is easier to get a global.)
The past 3 weeks I had 3 mining globals and 1 small HOF (480 +- ped cald). Due to the fact that one burns trough significantly less decay / hour or session, it is very normal that you not global that much or frequently as in the hunting profession (I will not even start about enmatter mining lol). Unless you are willing to use big amps.. mining globals will not occur that much (not talking about return, just about globals).
as for hunting: hunt as long as possible in one session. You will notice that every certain period of time a mini global pops up (or a global).. then it goes down again... up again.. using 100 ped ammo is fine when using an opalo on exa / snable / daik.. but it is
economical suicide when hunting feff.. drones... argo.. allo.. trox... .
I have +- the same hunting skills like you and I globalled 200+ times (I lost count in january) had about 3 solo HOF's... and I play on a limited budget (not taking team gobals / HOF's into account)
The best advice, when loot is low and stays low, just stop your hunting session...
if it is not going to drop, it is not going to drop. Recognise bad loot trends as FAST as possible and adjust.
