Haha this is really
MA taking the p**s now.
My partner was out mining and hit a VI Typo, it was half in half out of some water, and no matter what angle or how you tried you could not drill it up, Sent a support case to
MA with screens of it and the yellow messages saying "please point... bla bla" and this was their responce:

Sometimes you will find resources that are inaccessible and therefore cannot be excavated. Like this one, that was found in water, or the resource might be stuck under stones or in trees. We have consulted with our design team and this is a feature, which is part of the experience. So unfortunately we cannot offer you any compensation for such resources.

What the hell, you can excavate in water, and on land, why cant you half way between?
