Very wrong
The Gold Card and the now defunct Cashcard are very different things. The Gold Card is a security tool, the Cashcard could be used to withdraw money but that system was dropped a long time ago and despite it's replacement being due at the end of last summer there is still no easy way to withdraw money other than using the Transfer Centre.
Former Cashcard holders do however seem to receive preferential treatment with regards to speed of withdrawl.
