Well, obviously if you're hunting for one specific thing there's less chance of you finding it than of finding one of any number of items. (at the end of the day, if you loot something else worth +200, then why not just sell it and buy minor tp - its the same no?)

Gradivores for instance, maybe you drop Vigi harness instead, or Bear gloves, or nature's eye painting, etc.

But well, when I last hunted them the tp chips were dropping quite 'regularly'. Checking auction history to see how many are selling and, if you're a member, Tracker to see how many are hunting them, probably gives you a bit of a guide as to their current drop rate. Keep trying, you'll probably get it within a week with a reasonable amount of hunting I'd have thought unless the drop rate has decreased since earlier in the year.
