First of all - I'd like to clear up the fact that I do have clothes. I don't know when the last time any of you have seen me in game before, but I do indeed have a nice outfit.
I'll start off by addressing the misconceptions found throughout this thread.
Rayne Jade: I didn't simply approach him out of no where. His associate was advertising for him at Camp Phoenix, so I figured I would speak with Ido regarding his business. I didn't just walk up to him out of no where. As your said in your post, "If this person approached YOU and asked YOU to join, there is no need to pay him." - I agree with you, you are correct. So, if you believe that theory - then do not pay. Sounds simple to me.
Dargonstar: Yes, this is true. We did obtain several investors at a 500% ROI, and due to the fact that the ROI was so high, we placed a limit - no less than 25, no more than 1000, in the interests of security. Investors do not pay a buy-in. The buy-in is applicable to businesses joining the network.
If you're asking why the buy-in was so low - it's because we're trying to expand our network. By offering special benefits and low prices to the businesses that join, we expand our network. Later on, the deals for new businesses will change, for example - the buy in.
Outman: We have buyers and suppliers, we don't charge them to join. Ido owns a beauty shop - we were looking to add his corporation to the network. The buy-in simply reserves your spot in the network. Suppliers are offered bonuses - Ido is not a supplier. When you say that a degree is not required to trade in
EU, you are absolutely correct. I never said that it is. I was simply delivering a bit of background information on the knowledge I have obtained.
Zan Zan: I don't wear "unrepaired OJs" - I have yet to figure out where this is coming from.
Venture: I say "some sort of a agreement" because it is different for each of the people in our corporation. I can't tell you a specific one because it's not the same as everyone else's agreement. The 25 PED, as stated above, is to reserve the spot in the network. It is currently very low because we are trying to expand the network profusely. You also said in your post, "...until he stops sounding like such a douchebag." The only douchebag here is you - you're making posts about a subject on which you have no information. Perhaps if you took the time to contact me, or read the thread in its entirety, you would not have made such accusations.

But if an investor doesn't wish for his information to be thrown about, I must respect that. I answered all of his questions until he began taking up a very hostile, very threatening attitude. "Is it that the business sounds suspicious or is it that you gave so little information you cant form an opinion either way?" Good question - so until we figure that out, we shouldn't be posting in this thread with accusations about scamming, should we? By the way, I'm not saying you are accusing me - I'm speaking in a general sense. "When asked why you need it i would prefer to hear what its being used for and how it will help me..." He didn't ask what it was for. He implied I was scamming because it was such a low amount. I'm telling you now that if I was going to go through all of this trouble, I would sure as hell want more than 25 PED. "Yes and its also basic common business sense to know who you are dealing with." I insulted him because he insulted me. He wasted my time and attacked me personally throughout the conversation. I don't deal with people like that.
Gluepot: Read Jod's post, specifically near the end - the part you quoted in your post. You said, "Exactly why he said it sounds too good to be true." - Isn't that what happens in a business? Let's look at Google AdSense, for a moment.
With the Google AdSense endeavor - everyone wins. The advertisers get exposure for their business, and in turn give money to Google. Google hires publishers who place the advertisements on their websites. Google then divides the profit between the publisher and themselves. Through this method everyone wins. But, with your logic, since everyone gets something out of it - it must be a scam.
Eragon: "and not be able to afford to at least buy some clothes for 20ped." Again - I have no idea where this is coming from, but I do have clothes. My shirt has a V formation down the front, with the outside being blue, and the inside being a shade of gray. I also have pants, shoes, and a hat. Granted, it may not be extremely fancy - but it is clothing, and it isn't the basic newbie clothing. Also - it cost much more than 20 PED.

I came into this forum because someone was asking me, saying it would be a good idea to keep up on what's happening - seeing this thread was just sort of another reason to join. Also - I'm not big on forums. I own my own forums and dedicate my time to working on them, not posting on other ones. This is probably the only other forum you'll see me on besides my own. I apologize if that offends you.
Wody: Your post shows such a high level of ignorance, that it makes me want to just shake my head in disappointment. You clearly know nothing about investing. You don't hand money to a business, and take it right back at the ROI. Also - I clearly state in all transactions the period of time until the investor receives his/her money back.
Ozi: I also saw that movie. Will Smith did look terribly scrufty and awfully suspicious. But, he was an intelligent man and did offer a lot to his investors. End of story. EF - Oh, so I assume you had a full reputation and the respect of everyone straight from the beginning? A reputation takes time. When investors receive their funds back - they can tell others about it. That is how a reputation is formed - it isn't simply there.
No Longevity - I started this game when it was Project Entropia. Granted it was a long time ago, and relatively long ago I deleted my account because with school I didn't have time, but I was here a long while back. And longevity proves nothing about the security of a business.
No Personal Investment in
EU - Please tell me how you would know something like this.
No clarity of business plan - Really? I have a several page business plan saved in my Documents folder right now.
No skills in game - Yes, with all that trading it's amazing my weaponry skills haven't sky rocketed.
Shady wording of the offer - Shady wording? Or protection for the security of our investors who wish to remain anonymous?
Massive return on investment without a solid basis (500% wtf, and in what time frame, 500% in 20 years is f@#k all inflationary adjusted). - This comment here is just trash - I have nothing to say back to it.
