www.entropiatools.com There's an Inventory Calculator that does what you describe here, plus it will give you the market value of all your items based on PEAuction prices.
Also consider jdegre's skill scanner (see one of the pinned posts in the skills section.) That program is super-cool for scanning the Skills window and calculating the estimated TT and market value of your skills.
I tally the net worth of my Avatar too, but with these tools I'm able to do it almost every day in about 5 minutes!
