Great
MA - thank you for ruining the opportunities of your participants base by the obvious and pure greed
I was looking forward to the art gallery as it's an exciting platform for real life and virtual art.
As I can see the "project" Entropia was just a test of your auction system in order to test it's viability of online trading through a 3D chat interface spiced with some occasional hunting, mining and crafting. That's real cute, but it seems many of us became aware of this a little late.
I am very sure Entropia Universe will be around for many, many years - I have no doubt actually. It's the perfect e-Bay with a built in graphics engine
Some time ago I became aware that
MA will try to move their income from "decay/repairs" to external funds such as advertisements, in-"game" and real life trading and auctioning. However I had a tiny little hope that there would also be a little room left for the participants to develop their skills within their professions in order to become better and more profitable with time. This hope has vanished by the content of this article.
Canibalising on other peoples business is NOT ok in a situation where we can do nothing but leave
PE /
EU /
EU-Bay

Companies DO cannibalise on their own business when moving towards other strategic goals, such as moving a "bricks & morter" business towards e-business, but they do not have 100% control over the market and the participants in real life as
MA has in this comedy of a "project/universe".
This is the first time ever I am a little "scared" about the future. I mean, not scared about bad loots or ever growing ATH's - I'm scared about the direction
MA seems to be taking.
My advise - and - hope: Let
MA sell the "Project Entropia" based activities which we have all been a part of until now to a company interested in running a "game style" real cash economy. Then
MA can carry on in full with their e-Bay'ish activities and cut us, the broken limb, out of the equation
