How I see it? Sometimes the not known is the most interesting, so why give people the opportunity to leave the forum? It is much better that people are able to discuss things in an open forum to make things vinsible - than in closed forums. If we want to develope
EU because, yes - most of us LOVE
EU so much we spend time, money in there and here - it is important for us to be so mature that we can discuss other games too.
And let me - before you get into that argument - tell you that I do not talk about "This is better than
EU"-related threads, but constructive debating and comparasing of issues, which could lightning up for peoples desires (when it come to playing). To me, gathering people in here talking about the pos and neg of both
EU and other games would show others not-
EU-related players how openminded and mature this community is. And the community is a reflection of the game.
We do not have to say "We play
EU and all other games are
and people not playing
EU is stupidz0rs and lame" as some of the players who f.x. are playing <insert game starting with W and ending on W with one letter in between> usually are doing. Since
EU is so special and not getting money from monthly fee's, but have a real life economy were you can deposit and withdraw money, other mmorphs would not be natural competitors and therefor not a threat! In fact we (read=
MA) from our discussions could get ideas from wishes and annoyans which in the long run could be ideal for the
MA-team to work with and a great help. On top of that, the possibility to share as much as possible in here would keep and attract people to the forum and thereby loosing up some of the "cencored"-annoyed matters which is kind of shown in a lot of peoples posts and expressions!
No doubt that
EF is a main forum for
EU and always should be. But making a sub forum were people openminded can discuss other hobbies/interests would be a real good thing for not only the community but also for both
EF and
EU!
