Hi Squee,
this is my feedback on NRF so far:
I am now using your nifty little program for about 1 week. I got used to it pretty quick and it runs stable in the background. I am happy about having the possibility to mine and pin down my findings so easily.
Sometimes though, it really gets me. It won’t log my deposits anymore (parsing drops will always work). I have checked everything, tried to readjust gamma settings and color for better recognition, but it seems that it is not really an OCR problem, as on the settings tab I can see clearly the white writing filled in. A restart of the application sometimes helps. Sometimes it seems I can make it work again if I parse a drop first and then the depo. What is wrong? I have no glue.
I have made a personal wish list and a note of thoughts:
The program will always start with a new log: it would be nice to be able to continue a log, as for short breaks or (as is atm) parsing problems, a copy function might do the trick also, sure this is on official wish list already.
The depth graph is awesome, but the average find graph seems to be pretty useless. A better separation between ore/enmatter would be nice.
I would love to be able to print out the maps with the options set (i.e print me amathera map all I see in the window scaled to A4 paper, no drops, only lyst, belk, oil finds with names beside)
If I clicked on a find within the map it would jump to the data within the log file.
It would be nice to know the amount of different sized depos and to see that somewhere; perhaps next to the size log? i.e II(78), V(34), XI (5), XIV(2), XXX (1)

I wish

Ok. Can’t think of anything more right now
