1. Do scanning skills like scan human/animal, probing, analysis, biology, and others, have any affect on any other professions or activities in
EU? If I chip up or chip out any of these skills, will I gain or lose in any other professions besides the investigator ones? Mostly I am considsering chipping out, but only as long as I do not sustain a significant loss in any of my combat professions. Are there people who will buy these skills? (Too lazy to look in PEAuction atm
) Do the unlockable skills Xenobiology and Robotology have any effect on other professions, or anything othe than scanning professions? Pretty much the only reason I scan now at all is either to see an avatar's attributes/profession levels to get an idea of how strong they are, and to acquire skills which will hopefully have a greater value than the decay I spend on the scanner.
2. I recently decided, no more mining, no more crafting, just hunting, at least for now. Was getting low on PEDs so I chipped out all my mining and crafting skills (except a couple which I couldn't because the ESI was down to 10 PEDs, will buy another soon.) My question is: are any of the general skills completely unrelated to combat or fapping?
