My personal wishlist

Just listing my personal wishes for PE as a game. Perhaps something for MA to look at before they release a cmmerical?

- Faster skilling during crafting (apparently coming up).

- The ability to tame animals.

- Vehicles.

- Ability to use personal messages at auction.

- Better revenue. Come on. We all saw the figures of what MA makes. They ought to do fine if we'd get a better turnover. Plus that would make new people stay ingame longer, and deposit more. One word for MA: Interest.

- The ability to rent out items. I'd love to try out some weapons/armour, or lend them out to others, but one never knows if the other person truly will stick to their word.

- Overhaul of the Mentor-system. The system is screwed up right now. People sign up 50 disciples, and never talk to them again. They WILL get nice items though. No effort? No freebie.

- Balancing the game. The ubers are just too heavily favoured. They got skills cheap, AND good items that are worth WAY too much now. If MA wants this game to make it big, they'll ensure that items like Mod FAP etc are nuked. They present way too much of an advantage to the odd few who can afford them, or have had them since going gold. If it's a matter of players that determines the drop rate, I say we actively create new avis until at least 25% of the population has a mod fap, and the price is brought down to something normal.

- Personalising crafted items. Crafting stinks. Not just cause of the (lack of) skillgain, but most you craft at low level crafting is just TT-food. What one ends up creating at least ought to be useful. (But I guess this is asking too much, judging from the quest items ) Make us able to add something to an item so we could make it juicy.

- Event system. Players have excellent ideas for events. Give them the ability to exploit their creativity and make a few bucks by turning something really normal into something special (See Fight Club thread, special shop threads, or the Theme Park).

- In-game MP3-player.

- Better support. What happened to Rain Man should have been investigated. Support was disgusting. Discourage scammers. WE can't. A 40m USD company can.

- Personally, I'd love to see politics in-game. PE needs to have an in-game government speaking for the players. No, this will not end up in: "Uber-loots every time we kill".

- Auto-loot.

- Expanded uses for the FriendsList. More people. Off-line messaging. Statuses.

- Help the community develop. Ensure the game is not solely based on money. Every event was about personal gain. Why not an event that makes the community bond? Give us a clear signal that we're in this together. We ought to be standing shoulder by shoulder in events. Not just doing it because we can, and because we might be the lucky SOB who loots something worth a monthly paycheck, but no in-game use whatsoever.

- Uses for components. I'll wait till the next VU before elaborating, though.

- Get rid of Bridge. It's a company based on greed. We're passionate players. None of us ever spent this much of our hard-earned money on a game ever before. We enjoy the game. We can live with making slight losses. We can, however, not live with getting a 50% revenue because some rich numbnut thinks he ought to get richer.

Before implementing or even looking at any suggestion above, though, get the bugs fixed - I took the week off, and already am getting terribly annoyed with a few things:

At times MOBs run right through me. This most likely will be due to lag, but is irritating as hell. I will be swinging my axe at thin air.

I lost an item more than once this week. When I relog it'll be back, though. In itself innocent enough, but not when this concerns a FAP-50 that would have saved my ass had it worked.

The auction is still fucked. GSIs show up as other chips, with weird descriptions. All clothes are uncolored.

I've still had fake shots/fapping happen. My gun will shoot, my fap will move, but nothing happens. While I don't have 10k Aim, I do believe I'm at a skill level where I ought to do at least 1 dam.

I still at times get attacked by a non-radar, non-visible mob that does me 1 damage. While I can live with that, either I ought to get secondary skills, or it shouldn't happen at all.

For the sake of discussion, I'll add to this thread whenever I think/find more issues MA, consider this what will determine whether my raise will flow back to you as well.
