At least it was proven that an armor with less than full tt will decay less in the cases that the lower tt value mean that it is protecting less; other relations with tt value of an armor might be found. There are examples where armor decay isn't explained by any formula when comparing the decay of 2 diffenrent armors.

Anyway you can allways use the fruit method if you have doubts about your armor.

Here I've shown how it can be easyly done:
Guide to determine the DECAY of any item

also known as the fruit method (but it is easier less heavy and cheaper with vibrant SWEAT)
So sell all your fruits to me
I dont see how this very small variation in decay has anything to do with the thing Coop is saying, so why you say he is wrong beats me My theory btw is that this variation are internal rounding errors. It is so small, that is not realy worth mentioning imo. You can see the same effect between different armor parts of the same armor. AFAIK, except from this very small variation, all armor part follow exactly the same curve.

Conclusion is then that it IS suicide to hunt with very damaged armor and it is double suicide to hunt with a very damaged uber armor (2.34 pecs on ANY hit with a supremacy as long as supremacy has protection for it... well... you might assume that supremacy users are also using weapons that blast 25 pecs per second and therefore armor decay might not be their biggest concern, but at the end of the day, if it adds up... I guess supremacy users know better than hunting with damaged armor anyway. But still it's good to know. If more tests confirm this, maybe you could have a clean version of this thread made sticky somewhere ?
It can never hurt when more tests are done, butthats somthing for others to do . The conclusions of this threas are stored on the wiki page. I have just updated the page to answer the questions that were asked till now.
