Perhaps a 10 percent fee per day of the items maximum TT value would be a way to control the loaning/renting of items? MA makes money on loan fee and decay. Upper end items that are already rare won't be loaned often because it is not economically worth it. |
This has been discussed extensively, and Marco has clearly stated that a loan system is very unlikely to be added to
EU.
Also, I think it's a nice effort on
MA's part to make announcements like this to help participants, especially new arrivals, protect themselves from being taken advantage of.
