Even if what you state is true, more investment can only be a good thing for all participants, since this means
MA would need to draw less from the "lootpool" to pay itself its "expected"
Profit or reasonable
Economic Rent.
Combine this with the potential numbers of new participants that press about such large-scale investments bring to
EU (i.e. the TI and
CND "waves"), and it seems evident that these kinds of auctions are good for everyone involved in
EU, including Mindark of course.
Also, the willingness of investors to commit such large sums of real-life capital to our virtual universe represent a sort of "vote of confidence" in the future growth of
EU, and thus should make all of us feel more confident in our existing investments here.
