As for being good with computers, maybe Bill Gates is a notable exception, but some of the questions my parents ask me over the phone regarding their PC often make me smile.

Gotta agree...many baby boomers are not very computer savy, especially those that will be retiring soon. Most of them were in their 40s-50s before internet and computers were a common household item.
Also, in regard to wealth of baby boomes mentioned by someone earlier. I don't believe US baby boomers are know for their wealth, I actually believe it is the opposite. The previous generation had gone through the depression which led to a lot of people being very tight with money. Thus the baby boomers, who were raised by parents who saved and saved, became spenders. Spend, spend and more spend leading to a lot of debt.
