Honestly, I think this will be exactly the case, ... this thing about the "strange 5 electrical damage" has been discussed in this thread:

As you can see, the economy would be more realistic for a low-end weapon without the electricity damage. The Rep Edge Axe 1x0 is currently the only weapon with such a high economy. And it’s also a low-end weapon, which makes it even weirder.
