Welcome to the first in what I hope to be a series of social events where we, the people of Calypso, can combine our firepower to take down the biggest mobs in game with ease...
Within my soceity, Hunters Unlimited, there is a very active event promotion crew who sets up everything from official event system activities to newbie events where people opalo hunt formics in big teams. The opalo formic hunt got me thinking, why don't we have an event where we target folks with big ass guns on big ass mobs?
After some consideration about weapons I decided to see what response we could get from ML/Camo series rifle owners. So found below are the weapon specs I'd like to try for this first event.
Dmg/Sec: 70+
Range: 100+ Meters
Meeting Location: Billy's
Meet Between: 22:00 - 22:30
TP to Hunting Location: 22:30
As for loot distribution, I say we all have good guns so set the team to Stack Share and you keep what you loot. Concerning items, anything that breaks down to over 50 Ped per person is a even splitter for sure.
I was thinking Spiders/Uber Trox to start but that doesn't mean we can't collectively decide to target something else half way through.
This event is strictly for fun, there is no prize to be awarded except the satisfaction of wasting anything that appears on radar!
Make sure you load up on ME and booze before you join the team...
If we have enough response to create two teams or more that's wonderful, maybe we can have a friendly compeition for bragging rights on the biggest/most globals...
