Auction, shops and Swap Meet are all the same thing on a different scale.
Shop:
You pay an lots of PEDs to another player who has already payed a considerate quantity.
(Second player wins money)
You pay a rent fee.
(
MA gets paid)
MA wins more money from TAX.
(
MA again)
Players get money.
(First player gets some income, at last!)
No spam. Nice adds outside shops (more money for
MA).
Auction:
You pay a fee to put your item on auction.
(
MA gets your money first)
MA wins a little fee if the item was sold at a higher price.
(keep it comin'!)
Player gets money.
(at long last)
No spam. People search for whatever they want.
Swap Meet:
You pay a fee or rent to get a little space to display your goods.
(
MA goes first)
MA wins money from TAX.
(You guessed right!
MA!)
Player gets money.
(Player gets something at the end)
No spam. People can browse at their leisure.
It's the same as shops but.
Shops= little number of shops x low activity x high pay.
Swap meet= little income x high activity x enormous quantity of stands.
Now,
street vendors...
They pay absolutely nothing to
MA.
(
MA doesn't get paid... O.O)
They buy low-rate while selling their goods very high.
(Second player "loses money")
Player gets money.
(Without directly paying anything to
MA)
Lots of spam. Players have to speak with trader to get info about the goods.
Plus, there is a trade bug going on right now. You get easily scammed.
(Second player loses even more money)
Equation:
traders= High activity x enormous quantity of traders x no income for
MA= 0 PEDs directly for
MA. They only get your money indirectly.
It's as though
MA was losing money every minute!
Any questions?
