I use a TK220 and so far I am doing fine. But I have to drop a few thousand more bombs to break even I guess.
Please note that this finder helps a lot in finding very rare ore as Plat, Ruga and Gold. It doesnt mean you get more globals/hofs.
Also make sure you fit its requirements. Mineral Sense also helps a lot
