I have had this dream for a while, and not know what I was doing lead me not to persure this dream. However, i feel that the time is right, and that i am ready to undertake the challenge that I am about to set infront of you all.
My Dream, is to hold a cross-counrty race across Eudoria. Its something that we all do from time to time, do a lil run hunting, mining, and the rest.
But what about 1 with a purpose, one that dosn't need to drop probes and bombs, however the guns will be nessasery, incase of running into some truble.
The race shall be a team race, 2-4 on each team, a soc can enter as many teams as they want/depending on how many teams will race.
We would also have running with the team a marshall, to make sure that no funny buisness is going on.
We could charge a small entry fee,only for that to bolster the prize pool
The Race itself:
I have 3 routes in mind:
Route 1
East Scylla - Twin Peaks - Nymphtown
Route 2 ( Fort Race )
Fort Zeus - Fort Argus - Fort Ithica
Route 3
Billys - Camp Phoenix - Fort Fury - Hadeshem Outpost
There has been no time set on when this will be held, at the moment Im trying to get the feeling of when and how many would be intrested in taking part in the race.
This could be the start of the athletics in Calpyso . . .
Rules of the race ( Should it happen
)
1a. No teleporting is allowed under any circumstance expect death, Teleporting to the nearest revive point is also not allowed, also the sanctioned runner must have proof of death.
1b. Deliberate death will not be tolerated, all teams must be armed for there own protection.
2.If all members of a team die, then the sanctioned runner must teleport to the revive terminal .
3. For further proof the the race is being run in the right fashion, a photo must be took by the sanction runner of the team at the teleporter of the race; this will be jugded as a checkpoint for the race, and will then be posted on either the ENN ( Entropia News Network ) or
EF ( Entropia Fourm )
4. Hunting and Mining is not advised as it will slow your team up, but if you choose to fight thru a mob then so be it.
