Support Case - Badly Implemented Game

What, no Kygon chirping in his two sense? He hates these threads so much he posts on them everytime, so Hi Kygie. My goal for 08 was to be as positive as I could be towards this world. It's just getting harder and harder every day though. "Day late and a ped short" that's the motto here. I only have 1 person to blame and it's my friend who stumbled across this game and told me about it. Well 2 people, my wife for not bitching enough to get me to stop! I'm a victim here. When you log out 9/10 times pissed off, it's time to find something better to do.

I had not eve read your post, yet.
The OP stated that he has spent 5K USD on the game in 5 months time.

I have been in game going on 3 years, now, and have not spent anywhere near that much, and have enjoyed it, for the most part.
If I cashed out, today, I would get nearly all I have spent back out, so I have been doing pretty well, all in all.

(And that has to take into account some abject stupidity on my part.
A month into the game, I depo's about 500 USD, and and got burned for almost half of it learning about the armor upgrade scam the hard way.)

So, I say, if you're not having fun, and spending too much money, you are doing something wrong.

Sorry lars my apolagise was a misunderstanding thought you were refering to me as i did also metioned the 5k subject so sorry matey

Im in my 6th month in game things started to get good just before land grab then loot went down hill so am quite upset about that, i really started getting into game just before land grab thinking im skilled enough to use correct weapona and hunt right mob and was sufficient and profiting a little, But i guess someone has to pay for the land ma is gonna give away hey lol

But no worrys thanks for info i picked up some advice from that and will bare in mind

I have seen those slumps, as well.
Don't let sudden drops in return discourage you. But don't go high on the hog, either.

You are on the right track.
Pick your weapons, and pick your mobs carefully. there is some sort of logic in the thing.
And when you get into a slump at one thing, change-up.

Come up with some personal quests, and follow them.
Don't worry so much about your return, but set a limit to how much you will spend a month, and STICK to it.

Like playing casino's if you are playing for the BIG PRIZE, you will likely be disappointed, but of you go to have fun, you probably will find it.

i didnt read all the replies - but i can understand your feeling about the game...

PE was great - different stuff fom different mobs and most of the time something different...

EU is full of oil which you can loot on every mob and to 95% you always get the same stuff. beside the fact its much less than you got stuff in PE it's simply boring...

(at least not as nice as it used to be imo)
