Support Case - Badly Implemented Game

I will try and keep this as coherent as possible.

I have been playing this game for 5 months. I was drawn to this game because it seemed to set challenges.

When I first played I read everything I could and have progressed pretty quickly with a few chips to help me.

I am still playing the game but becoming disillusioned already. I have deposited around 5K dollars to play this game so far.

Now, I am not looking to make money from the game but I am looking for some interest and excitement.

The game seems to be a lottery to me.

The concept of the game is very good but the implementation is poor. I don't want to gamble I want to achieve tasks and maybe or maybe not get rewarded for that.

One of the things that excited me when i started playing was that different mobs dropped different items. This would provide a bit of excitement and I went off hunting, looking for these items.

The loot however is all the same. even when I global its 3K of oil. there is no challenge or excitement in this.

There are other games coming along that you will be competing with and would have hoped that you would want to retain your current player base.

If you don't improve things then you will not have a player base.

There needs to be some logical progression and reward for achievement otherwise the game becomes a 3d chatroom and nothing else.

As an example my soc chat mostly consists of who has paint, what textures can be made and what clothes have been colored.

this is not the foundation for an adult game (and adults have the money )

Anyway that enough incoherent waffle but I hope you get the idea of what I am trying to say

And by the way I have time to write this since I CTD and have not been able to log in for an hour.

Take it or leave it - is the best way to look at this place

if you want a task based game have you played the sims?

maybe this will enable you to pratice "life" skills , then how about you go get one

Maybe try to focus on the things you think is fun (if any), and less on the loot?

Agree, that sure is a crappy soc chat topic.

But I have never ever heard such topics in my soc chat... Not once.

Sure EU has bugs and things that could be improved... But overall it's still the greatest game I've ever played, and the only thing that has been able to keep my interest for more than 1 year. (3 years now... I think? )

Anyway, a few suggestions for you:
- Try to focus on what you think is fun.
- Find a soc with some people you enjoy chatting with. (Maybe you have)
- Skip the things that you think is boring
- Set realistic and achievable goals... Some close some a bit more distant.

If nothing work and you still think it's boring... Then it's probably time for you to cash out.

I totally agree, the only reason i still play is because there is no other thing like it.

You can say its the best out there because its the only one out there. But if MA doesn't get to grips with reality soon they will find that half their playerbase will have left.

Im just waiting now before someone else jumps on the bandwagon. I for sure will sign up for that one.

Dont get me wrong I love EU, but i do also hate it. But until that new EU, and a better one comes along i guess im stuck here

For now it is unique but ... for how long will MA retain its player base when something comes along which provides similar gameplay but which also addresses these issues?
A company/game that will invest in the bandwidth to support an event with many avatars in a small area at the same time; that will have a more definite storyline; that will have a more open policy with regard to informing players of what is happening in upcoming VUs; that won't continually move the goalposts where skills are concerned. Add your own personal pet hates to the list.

Yes, the new gfx look nice, yes, they'll look even nicer when CryEngine is implemented. But is better gfx really more important than better gameplay? For me personally - no, it isn't.

I agree. Getting a bunch of oils or hides as a Global is ok, but not nearly as exciting as a Fire Forge DAR 9300 (Modified ) would be! Awesome Unlimited items motivate me to deposit.

Yep, doesn't always have to be in loot but skills and such greatly motivate ppl to move forward. Most gamers will put in the time, effort and / or money to make their character better. That's what gaming is all about!! Now we hit that ceiling and see no reward / advancement/ achievement for all out hard work unless we put in a ton of cash.

There was a time when the worst I would do on a hunt was a 40-50% loss. That wasn't that common though and used to be able to break even or come close. I always accepted the losses as I considered the skills I got in return as a 'cost'. With they way things are now a 40%+ loss is almost a daily occurance and I can barely keep things even. The sad part is I don't get the skills in return either.

So, flame away if ppl need. Not trying to whine here, just the way it's been. Sorry, I had one of the worst hunt losses EVER last night. I hunt for hours and hours and see no globals. My friends know I'm on and hunting. Guess I'm in a bad cycle or something, dunno. It mostly irritates me that I don't even get the skills back in return for those huge losses. Totally de-motivating...

See i agree on this fellas, I totally agree, Its been my biggest concern and the biggest thing to piss me off is we dont loot or will never loot any decent stuff like mod faps or decent armor or decent weaponry,

People who started when this thing was first implimented got it all, But us new comers dont get jack because????


We joined now and not then because we didnt know it existed???? what they dont realise is were depositing more the they ever did because back then mod fap and shadow armors grew on trees and by depositing like $20 you could buy a full shadow or loot a complete set with that but now you can spend like $5000 and swill not loot a full set , But if you look at it logically and use yer brain abit majority of the people will agree that theres nothing coming through to help us progress were stuck

to get A to B either you spend 6 years getting there or depo like £100000 k and you'll get there the latter will probably be a cheaper route aka they just want your money and where it is to you their sat there with their middle finger sticking up so every time you turn with a support case or complaint picture it Ma sat there with its finger stuck up at ya because they really couldnt care as all they do is type out pre typed message click and paste and close the case.

Any ways that my bit sorry if i pissed any one in the process but that wasnt the intention so no offence,

I am certain that some items dont drop anymore. And there is a good reason for it i guess: They are "unbalanced". But MA cant take them out neither. On the long run, they probably disappear.

But that does not mean that nice items still dont drop! I was afraid that angel dont drop anymore at all, then i hear from a soc mate it just dropped for someone. The pregold items are not anymore for sale, except for resellers, and no one will pay their price anyway. I bet, most highest-end items who are not in the hands of the ubers moves from reseller to reseller. No harm done there, its their own waste of peds.

We have to live with it: Certain items will be forever out of our reach and they will sooner or later disappear.
