Why should this thread close?

The only reason it would close is if the forum being advertised is at odds with the ideals of this one.

Lots of other sites and forums are advertised on EF

Hmm... I remember that MA banned pretty much everybody from romanian IP-ranges. Has that changed?

Don't get me wrong here. It's a good thing if they overruled that general ban. It was a stupid thing to do anyway.

Nope, they were never banned, they just had to provide some form of identification to make an account. As far as I was aware.

yep, you have to provide ID copy, and a utility bill copy

I see no reason why a person should not promote a forum for EU on EF. (that is for a language other than English, and as such is not "competition")

This forum is English based. It seems likely that there will be many Romanians who have little or no usable English. I have no Romanian, so I am unlikely to leave here and go there.

Any Romanians who navigate here will stay if they have good English, and will be able to go to a much smaller forum elsewhere if they have find the language barrier too great.

No one loses, and everyone gains.

I suspect that is because the forums you have linked to contradict the ideals of this forum. As I mentioned in the 3rd post.
