Entropia Rites of Passage

Entropia is a highly diverse and huge Universe that allows us many things to do. However, there seem to be a few activities that almost every ava does. These are practically rites of passage, in that if you haven't done them, you haven't truly experienced this Universe yet.

Rites Of Passage

• Bought/sold stuff on the streets of PA & Twin
• Craft pants/shirts with materials you looted
• Get all TPs (of course)
• Hunt Ambu @ Nea's
• Hunt Argos @ Twin
• Hunt Feffs @ Fort Fury
• Hunt on CP
• Hunt/Mine on CND
• Mine for Force Nexus on TI
• Notice the global chat & run to the nearest space ship to search for something worth 50 ped
• Run through Hades and wonder why it's empty
• Sweat @ PA/Swamp Camp
• Team hunt Hogglos @ TI
• Visit the Rig (and get killed)
• Wonder what's wrong w/ your monitor the 1st time a miner comes along

Now admit it. If you've been here for over 9 months, you've done practically all these things. Beyond these, we all seem to go separate ways, but a vast majority of us do/did these activities.

Due to changes, some old rites of passage seem to have gone to the side. (These are still done, but aren't as popular anymore.)

Old/obsolete Rites of passage

• Hunt Corns @ Argus Beach
• Hunt exo/combibos @ PA
• Hunt Longu @ Rei's
• Sweat @ Camp Phoenix (Replaced by Swamp Camp)

Here's one I've seen repeated a couple times...bought the wrong kind of ammo and tried to trade it for the right kind on the streets or at tp's close to the trade centers.

• Realise that you are not supposed to profit
• Be amazed when you see someone craft spamming in person for the first time
• First beacon run
• Get stuck at the outpost of Troy
• Meet and get killed by your first spider (usually in conjunction with the previous item)
• Hunting Drones at Jason

An old one:

• Get a free TP when you relog on a different server

• Buy an Opalo

• Thought whips looked cool,bought one,sold it within the hour
• maxed a TT weapon
• been offered an armor upgrade

For obsolete how about

• accidentally repaired clothes

oh and...

• ask the first person near you "WTF was that?" the first time you see a tp chip in action
• Buy a Katsuichi in hopes of becoming uber Ninja,Sell it after first repair bill.

and yes you have to add going out without ammo/probes/bombs
