Hey all !

Cryengine graphic engine on EU has been succesfully implemented and is as of this month it's being tested by Mindark 'geeks' in partnership with Crytec 'geeks' ... The Graphic engine will be made public to all Entropians as soon as the tests are finished , as a form of a major update that will take from 2 to 4 days to implement ... Phisical server updates will also be implememented before or after this update . Unfortunatly just some new features will be implemented along this update , the main workpower being focused on introducing and making the new Engine work smoothly ... The 'new features' like cars, new planet etc will be implemented as updates 1 or 2 months after the Cryeingine is implemented...

I don't want CryEngine Can't afford to buy a new computer yet, that's what I'm going to have to do when CryEngine is released..That means no more EU for me. I'll just have to hope that it works with the lowest graphics

Cars? With wages from hunting and mining going down and far from keeping pace with inflation how is one suppose to afford fuel? I`ll have to make the choice between driving to the atrox grounds or feeding my three growing exarosaurs. I hope they will be flex fuel vehicles.

But seriously I do hope the embassadors words are accurate. The cryengine upgrade coming sooner rather than later would be a great thing. Perhaps space will open in a timely manner then. Interesting times ahead. And yes I also am hoping I don`t need to upgrade yet again. Seems like it was just yesterday I had to ge a new graphics card just so I could see my avatar.

It can take 10 years for all I care, it will just mean that I can't play EU anymore unless I update my PC.

Well.. its a nice thought.. but ambassadors have no special info or inside knowledge of MA.

Who exactly said that cryengine was already done and in testing? Most/all of the ambassadors are EF members.. why would this big news be coming 2nd/3rd hand?

Even on a rather crappy comp, you can get to run Crysis (I got it running on my really really gimped last computer).

Now, It doesn't only depend on how well you perform on running Crysis, but I'm pretty sure Entropia won't require as much performance as Crysis, despite using same engine.
