Black marks on ground?

what are those black schorch marks everywhere on the ground in entropia?

some people say its remains from people mining there, other people say its just game artifacts. to be honest, i tried mining areas where i seen these marks at certain times of days every so often and i don't get any claims.

I've hit claims on black marks.

I've also seen them on CP.

Strangely enough tey are slways in the corner of a texture, but in general i take it that (on eudoria onlym note) it is an indication the area was mined recently. Mayb be leftover code from old PE versions though and doesn't work properly anymore

That's dust. Plain ol' dust.

Now in case you ask what the rare random clear spots within the black ones are: somebody sneezed. If you go there later and notice a small tree where the clear spot used to be you should totally avoid that tree.

I think they are just graphic smudges, don't mean anything in particular, but I do tend to bomb on them and more often than not get a claim. Maybe that's just a fluke, but what the hell, it works

Actually come to think of it, ignore hwta I said A-bomb got it right and it explains why you see them on CP
