Since I spend all of 10 seconds looking at the login screen while I enter my credentials, it does not make much of a difference to me. I like to see a new login screen mainly to show that there is a new version.

Anyone else notice the resemblance between ND in real life and the chap on the right?

Anyone also notice it with the last login screen too?

I think it's a bit too colourful and happy.

I'd prefer something darker that resembled a hostile planet.
