Im agreeing with Kygon for the most part.. compared to the rubberband vu, this one shines.
What Mindark should have done however is be more detailed about the mob changes. If they would have told us, loot would be adjusted accordingly.. I would not have anything to complain about. The lack of a statement about this is I think why there's so much complaining. Same goes for the mentoring system.. They could have told in more details what the changes were.. instead of mentioning it,in one line of text. I can understand the secrecy.. and we do like to find stuff out ourselves.. but lately with all the nerfs, more detailed information from Mindark and their motives would be handy.. and I think when we spend gazillions of peds into this universe we would have the right for more detailed info. |

did they fuckup anything big? NO then I think = good VU sure if they added 3 new mobs to detract from the other mob HP nerf then is would have been an ace vu lol as for panels - who really cares how it looks? I dont care if they mess them up and change them for better later |

I like the VU in general.
The mob change is good although I would liked some more AI of the mobs. Attacking in group, attack triggered by a mining bomb etc.. Yes I also think it's a shame they put effort in the remake of the skill window, but maybe they worked out a template window type for all property and settings windows when cryengine comes in. There are some little bugs they need to correct: -You cannot stack items in a storage box anymore. (Need to take em out in inventory, stack there and put em back in storage box. -When placing an item between 2 unrefined wool in you storage when the wool is at the side and on top of each other, and there are one or two slots open between it , you place an item between it , EU hangs. -And I have a couple of times the refiner bug again from a couple of VU's ago. -As well as looted ammo is not always stacked in your inventory you open inventory and you have a bunch of 3 and 4 ammo stacks laying around making your items go up. (And when stacking it can take very long) But I see those as minor bugs as well as the increase of lagg sometimes will be solved with some mini-updates soon. All and all, one of the better VU's implemented so far. |

Considering the past version updates I experienced so far (and being a developer, i know what can be done), these two sentences are EXACTLY what I think about MA's update strategy.
Sorry, I really believe they are trying hard, but the whole process should be rethought. They mess it up far too often. Regards, DD |
