FYI: Mindark and player ideas

With all the talk (pretty often) about MA not listening to the players about what ideas should be implemented from the wishlist I wanted to make a list of what types of ideas will/will not be implemented

Will be implemented:
Those ideas that has a nice support from the players (even though player support is not really necessary MA often check this too) and (one or more of the following):
1) Will generate more money for MA.
2) Will generate more players for EU.
3) Will increase the gaming experience so players will stay longer, without costing MA too much money.
4) ....

Will not be implemented:
1) Ideas who cost too much for MA.
2) Ideas who will take too much of the gaming experience away (yes of course MA thinks about this, even though some people might not think so ).
3) Ideas that would make MA need to hire more people because they are not part of that professional area (might outsource though).
4) ....



Suggestions for more reasons they might/might not implement ideas are welcome

Please do not flame this thread if you feel I'm wrong (or use it to flame MA, EU or anything else associated with them), it's just my personal opinion and it can be discussed in a mature way!

For the 'Will be implemented' list:

(4) Will generate non-player income (e.g. ads, making platform available to other developers)

(5) Will provide interesting and demanding tasks for MA's developers (to maintain their interest and retain them in the company)

A little note about ideas. Most people give out an idea, and are annoyed that
MA didn't implemented it in a comming VU. I know for fact ideas take about
11 to 12 months to be implemented, so don't be angry if they will not
come in a near future. A good idea will eventually be implemented...

and my former suggstion about the soc HQ, i did send a suggestion to them as well and here's the respond.

So they did most of the reading i supposed and forwarding to the right department, whether it will be done or not, it's still up the the dept or prob available manpower, especially this is the "rumored" Mindark's office.

I've actually had about 10 of my ideas implemented. Even the new Imigration Building they just put in was my idea. be it like 3 years ago but i still asked for it. About time they put it in.
having a pvp bar also was my idea

So i feel like MA is listing to my ideas so far.

I'm realy curious to new mentor gifts i hope that they took some of those ideas too.

p.s. when i say MY idea. I'm not the ONLY person to have had that idea as many of us SHARE the same ideas. But MA has dones a lot of things I"VE personally asked for among others so it's pretty nice to see.

All times I have been to the MA office I have seen some dude in a room reading the forums... I think that might be all he does there...
