Is it still PE or now EU to you?

Just a random thought really. I was wondering how long it takes for such things as the name change to engrain themselves in peoples minds.

Guess I was kinda amused by David Simmonds' quips about what happens to MA employees who call it PE still

For me it will always be PE but sometimes I call it EU outta necessity for others to understand me. It doesn't help that EU already means European Union to me either.

It's EU, because like in the EU (European Union) everything gets more expensive and taxes rising...

I seem to recall it becoming Entropia Universe in April 06 and I joined in May 06, so I have only ever been a colonist in Entropia Universe.

Having said that its not a "Universe" to me with one planet, one space station and an asteroid, so mentally I still think of it as Project Entropia.

On EF I refer to it as EU though

Well the Universe thing is MA's idea that it will expand. JWT is a big fan of x wing vs tie fighter apparently so it was always on the books to allow people to fly about in space.

This doesn't seem to happen really yet but we can but sit and wait

Right yeh just in case anyone gets the wrong idea. I didn't mean this as some kinda argument over what the game should or shouldn't be called. Its EU and thats a good name. I'm more interested in sorta how long it takes our old habbits to die I suppose.

Guess I also wanted to spot the old timers too

I started playing just over 2 years ago when the virtual world was Project Entropia.... hence my society name PE Addicts.
I use both PE and EU depending on who I'm talking with... for me it's the same. I know a few soc mates will tell you that they are PE Addicted... they will never refer to themselves as EU Addicts.

Though MA has stopped defining them as such on their website I think

Was about to post the same exact thing... shouldn't we be referring to our currancy as Entropia Universe Dollars... EUDs?
