My post is towards ubers reaction to the protest that followed VU 9.0 (2 pec, foot-guards and cloth decay). I understand that protest and agree with it but what really pisses me off is the comments and reaction from ubers. No support at all was not what I would have expected from those well known and long time players.

Ban me from that forum if you wish but please try to come down to the level of the majority of players from time to time and stop saying that it's only whining.

To this date only ubers with most flexible spine are still actively playing.
The ones who had any bit of self-respect quitted/quitting/on vacation.
Dont expect the ones who left here to say a word against MA.

So, came in late to this, only just taken in the new VU myself... is no-one else just thinking "Now my feet need protecting; mebbe start hunting slightly lower maturities 'cos I got a 1 in 7 chance of a big hit til I get some foot-guards"?

I agree with the above apart from 2) Decay on clothes - maybe, but it should be only when you get hit by a MOB and don't wear any armour on that body part which was hit - that makes sense to me.

Maybe they were in the past, but not now.

This time MA really went too far and upset MAJORITY of the Participants.

There are many protests going on from mild to severe.

From people simply submitting the support case, not changing clothes, stripping naked, wearing Orange OJ's, to sit-in demonstrations within EU, petitions, writing EU-negative articles to MMORPG Web Sites, Mags and newspapers, to such drastic measures as not depositing any money, withdrawing money out, cancelling all Credit Cards in deposit section of EU web site and lastly - chipping out and leaving EU for either of other MMORPGs (which I personally don't endorse, but many people do it).

I love EU and sincerely hope that MA finds its lost path to EU Community and cancels this ridiculous GARMENT TAX, before it will be too late for thousands of players for whom this is a tipping point and who are considering to leave.

Meantime do not be passive and protest here:

I personally could care less what "the ubers" think about it. Why should their opinion matter more than the others? I certainly do not need (or want) them to plead my case for me.

MA should be more concerned about the opinion of the players ingame for between .5 - 1 year. These are the people that will talk about this game to friends and get more people interested. The so-called ubers are fully into the game and chances are their associates already know about it.

Speculation on my part - I am not saying this is the case, but it is my opinion.

As far as those ubers being heavy investors and THAT is why their opinion should matter... Land owners are pulling down so much money already I doubt this will affect their PED card dramatically. It is the newer user that strives to be better that will be affected the most and that is sad to me. Word of mouth is about the only advertizing MA gets and now it is in jeopardy.

Well as a uber ( uber lite) its not hard for me to get the basic new boots like Nem, Grmlin to name just a few ..

But what’s really eating at me is the class A armor sets like Supremacy and Eon.


So From my perspective it seems that its really easy for medium hunters to get there stuff for very affordable prices, but ubers with uber armors going to take it up the ass.

Armors Shadow and above because supply will be low and demand will be higher..


Unlike lower armors where supply will always be better.


come on lets look at it most armors boots have been found but been hunting segs , falx , Kingfishers.. not one surprmacy or any armor above Shadow as been found....

I have hunted with over 1k ammo on hogs too and have not got one boot

in all my hunting i have not looted one God damn boot yet.. not even a little shit..

I did loot my boots from the damn acution.. lucky my hunts on segs have made some profits...

I bougth the plates 5bs and 6as and im hopping to maybe get lucky with one of the uber boots to wear with all sets if need be.

An excellent point... I may have envyed having Shadow armor a week ago, but I dont now.
