No offense, Boner, but I don't see Etopia moaning about his bad spelling/verbiage nearly this often, even when the rare person makes fun of it. They just get smacked down, (often by others) and that's that.

Your posts take some getting used to just like Etopias. Yet there's quite a difference between the attitude the 2 of you seem to have about it.

You should have posted the other stuff then m8. The stuff that you showed in the screenshot wouldn't lead me to the conclusion that you were having your dyslexia harassed. The only line that says anything about your dyslexia was written by you. The line by the player you were speaking with could be interpreted as possibly the language barrier instead of dyslexia joke. It would more clearly show the abuse if you posted the whole conversation. I don't doubt that you waited until you felt threatened to post this though. I think it would have helped display it though if you'd had more information for the community in the screenshot.

If that was the intention of this player though, that sucks. Sorry to hear it and perhaps you can help educate others about your problem. Many others share this learning disability and would probably gain strength from seeing someone like yourself being so successful in life with it.

No, it isn't ok to do that Jimmy. It just would be more of a joking manner if it was about being from another country rather than a learning disability. Albeit slightly tasteless as well, it wouldn't be flat out mean in that case. I poke fun with Etopia and call him "French Fry" all the time. I don't mean to be rude, it is just my way of being funny with him. Words can be taken one way or another depending on your tone of vocal inflection. In EU, we don't have that luxury, so they don't always end up being interpreted as they were meant to be.

As I stated and will continue to state, making fun of a person's skills at English is really quite ignorant if you can't speak the other person's language flawlessly yourself. Many Americans are VERY guilty of this sort of pompous attitude about English being the ONLY language. I hate that part of our country.
