I have this picture set up as my background on my computer at work. It looks like land to the North and to the East. I cannot tell if either are Amethera though.

Gee, that pic looks just like the background on my comp at home. Imagine that.

I ended up with another of those fantastic glitches right after a WoF event. I went to a few places on the other continent and, after clicking their name to aim toward them, I screenied the radar bearings. Hopefully using the angles from the radar, I can triangulate an exact position and line things up. (whenever I get around to it. )

Then, too there is the question of since the world is round, doesn't Amethera also sit on the other side of Eudoria? But every time I've had this glitch, no matter what, it points from Amethera east to Eudoria.

I'd put that down to Artistic license and a slight lack of future vision when the art was made.

Along while ago I glitched through the floor of cnd and was able to run around the astroid, and I ran as far as I could to the west from the control room and found myself at the edge of the land by some water and the map read as it shows.
