You are complaining about people's attitude. When i say man up, i say get real, people are just that, people. Some will be great, some will be bad, and there's really not much you can do about it.

In this forum, we already have a strong sense of censorship, meaning, there's a lot of things that cannot be spoken, no matter how "rosy" you put it in. So no wonder people vent their anger thru other means..

Sometimes people do deserve a "Get a life" reply. If that bothers you, then perhaps you expect too much.

it is not the phrases, per se, but the attitudes behind the phrases. i see a deplorable decline in the common civility of beings in general. this lack of basic politeness and good manners is hurtful to all beings. with such attitudes that allowing rudness to not be disiplined in some manner engenders greater uncivil behavior and greater rudenesses .. and not just here within EU or EF, but in true life as well. because those attitudes that are allowed in these virtual worlds are being allowed in the true worlds as well.

whining to be whining is one thing, and is an opinion. agreed. but, there are other ways of disagreeing with the individual without being rude or uncivil.

let us see how creative one can become without being rude, crude, or profane?

I think even those comments have a place and time to be said.
