Question: Sigs breaking frame in pm's

Is there a way to disable signatures in my received pm's?

I know I can do it in the threads but I don't want to, however I would like to in my inbox as some people that pm me have 500 x [whatever] signatures and these mess things up slightly.

I don't mind so much the gaps around the edges:

or is it something I just have to put up with?

I don't know of any way you can do it unfortunately but I may have missed it.

Its a bit of a pain yeah, as the sender you can elect not to include your sig in the message if you remember its going to mess things up in a PM, but as the receiver there's not much you can do if they forget afaik.

I believe the text only gets cut off in the Original EF forum template. The new templates should expand the message part of the table as needed, to make all of the PM text visible.

The Original EF template was designed for a much older version of the forum software, so not all features and layouts will work as intended or expected. EF is primarily intended to be viewed using the new forum templates, which were designed for the newer versions of the forum software (vBulletin). The Original EF template is provided as a courtesy for members who are accustomed to it, but unfortunately it is not always easy to keep it updated with the constant changes to the forum software. Mindbuster does a pretty good job of keeping most features working and compatible with the Original EF template; this issue you mention is a relatively minor inconvenience, but perhaps MB can fiddle with the html code to get things to display properly.

You might consider switching templates (temporarily or permanently) if you encounter a PM where you cannot read all the text.

That kinda helps, now everything is readable with help from the browser's horizontal scroll bar but at least the text is no longer cut off.
