If you edit your thread , then you can choose "advanced edit" en then you can change title and have all options as well.

I confess I have been "Cucumber milkshaking" threads in the name of fun.

I have gone 24hrs without a hit now and despite getting the shakes (not the cucumber ones) I have managed to refrain from doing it again. I got close on one thread, but a quick PM to my sponsor DJ set me straight again.

I can't really explain my actions other than I thought it was funny. I apologise to the comunity for ruining the forum and will endevour to fight this evil affliction that plagues me with the help of my sponsor and a very supportive network of friends

The forum permissions for thread tags have now been revised as follows:

• Thread starters from all usergroups may add up to 5 tags when creating a thread.

Please be aware that admins and moderators are able to see which member added any particular tag to a thread. Any member found to be abusing thread tags in the future risks losing access to the thread tag system, and/or a temporary ban from EntropiaForum.

Is it supposed to be possible to edit/remove tags in your own threads now? Because I don't seem to be able to do that.

Too bad, this was a useful feature I thought. As in many cases a few people abusing a feature results in the removal for those that did not abuse it.

Since the mods can see who was putting the apporpriate tags on threads a first step could have been removing those and sending a PM to the abusers asking them to refrain from using inappropiate tags. ( perhaps this was too cumbersome or not an option)

Hopefully it will be useful to those that can add tags, but I doubt it will be as useful to those of us that do not start a lot of threads or are not in one of the other special groups on EF. I would have rather seen it go away then being made into a feature that only a few can use.

Hmm, but it wasn't removed? It was only cleaned up a bit, and restricted. Now it will actually have a chanse to be useful.
