No I'm not leaving this universe. However:

For the past 2 years, my unusual job situation has afforded me a lot of access to this great forum.

Now it seems the web filter we use has been updated to block EF. I no longer can be on the site at work.

Since I spend my time at home ingame, the unfortunate results of this are clear. My time on EF will become near zero.

Just thought I'd let you guys know. I'm not leaving. I've just been given the boot.

Well, i'm sure there are ways around those web filters that some people on EF can tell you about, but, i think that's probably a good thing to spend less time on EF.
I use to go on EF during my lunch break and i can't anymore because of those web filters? Well, you get use to it and do other things with your time. Perhaps even get more work done ?

I try and pop-in once a day at night and that's all i have time for now a days.

You need to let them know That it's Very important that you have access to this forum because your retirement is at stake and they need to grant you access to this website so you can check on your stocks here!

JC, you could try going to anonymouse.org and browsing EF from there.

You just need to be sure your time spent here is within the conditions of use of computers at your workplace. Wouldn't want you to lose your job due to EF addiction. Some people can be picky but any good workplace would accept your usage as long as the job gets done.

Yeah same thing happened to me several months ago. I no longer have time at work to be the bane of the Mods. heh heh heh

Unfortunately, any web filter worth it's salt will also block proxy sites

Sorry to hear about that... I hate web filters!
I'd be happy to help by giving you access to my private proxy (should be off the grid) or a VPN tunnel through one of my servers.
