and as for performance can you tell me why we dont have newspapers written in this style : dlkjfspe ef;lskd e feef;d ? ill tell you why cos both newspapers and public forums r aimed at wide range of public and cos of that certain rules should apply to both. if u dont want to respect that then u shouldnt keep writing.

and as a proof that it is possible even for a person with a dyslexia to write well with a little bit of effort (or caring for other readers) check the latest posts by that uber, they r written in a very good english. as i said its only a metter of caring enough and being thoughtful of others. i think the lesson was learnt, only why at the cost of my reputation?

Why the hell should a person with dyslexic do an efford when others aren't?? It seems you are the only one with a HUGE problem understanding what Cobra writes - there ARE others on this forum also writing in a bad English (on top of that Cobra is Danish, but even though he try writing in English - and he is very open towards his dyslexic which shows more balls than a pathetic whiner about it). To me it more seems an efford in harrassing Ben with an he's "uber" and "ohh he should not think he is something special or more "worth" than "I" am ... "-attitude...

If you are SO perfect in communication yourself, maybe you should drop the "cos" and "r" and "u"'s and write it properly ?

i do not miss the point. i was not talking about perforfmance, dont put words in my mouth. i just said that people with certain disabilities cant do certain things as well as the others. it doesnt make them worse in any way. of course we should facilitate their lives as much as possible, after all thats one of the reasons why we organise ourselves in the civilised societies of today.
but at the same time it happenes that i did a course on pedagogy and i do actully have some knowledge about dyslexia. and please do not compare a person on a wheelchair to a dyslectic. i know they find it hard to write, but hey we've got spellcheckers and online dictionaries which r free to use. and i really dont care about typos, mistakes here and there, lots of them here and everywhere else but when it comes to the point when you read something similar to this: dfdhjd ssld eefdf? and there r lots of posts from that person and u stumble upon them coupla times a day they u start thinking... with all the means the persons got at thier disposal (spellcheckers, dictionaries) and still writing like that it just means that he or she doesnt give a solitary **** about the readers and if this is the case then why write at all if not out of pure vanity and self appreciation?
cos if u want to communicate and exchange views and informtion with others as u pointed out then u should write in a manner that enables others to understand u. and thats the whole point of it, and please with the above said dont try to keep on telling me it is not possible for that person to do it. yes certain disabilities make ur life hard, make certain things impossible and it would be pure ruthlesness and/or stupidity to ridicule such people, but not in this partiular case as there r means to bypass the implications of this disability and its only a matter of eagerness to do it. so if i was at it, it was this lack of good will rather than the disability itself.
having said that im taking pity on the fact that lotsa pople behave like a herd of cattle and follow the group whether sensible or not without thinking on their own.

Common respect and decency for other members, and their varying abilities in writing English on this forum goes a long way.

Most members have no problems getting the meaning of Ben Cobra's posts, and those who have callously commented on his dyslexia are far in the minority.

If you find you cannot tolerate another member's posts or writing style, you can always add that member to your ignore list, and you will no longer see their posts.
